Cedric & Romane

Working together since 2022, Cédric and Romane bring creativity, fluidity, and playfulness to their dance. Influenced by solo practices like martial arts, contemporary dance, and lambada, they’ve developed a unique identity. Over the past two years, they’ve shared their passion across Europe at events and workshops. With over 30 years of martial arts experience and 20 years of teaching, Cédric’s smooth leading stands out. Starting couple dancing with tango 15 years ago, he discovered Brazilian zouk in 2014 and has been teaching it for six years, blending self-taught skills with professional training. Romane’s dance journey began with ballet at age four, followed by 14 years of gymnastics. At 19, she embraced various styles, including contemporary, kizomba, salsa, and pole dance. Brazilian zouk, her true passion, is influenced by countless social media videos, which inspire her unique style. Zouk has taught her lessons in connection, confidence, and communication, deeply enriching her life.

Kassio & Ania

Kassio, born in Manaus, Brazil, began dancing at 15 with Grupo Adana, focusing on traditional Brazilian dances. At 19, he discovered Brazilian Zouk while studying ballroom dancing with Grupo de Dança de Salão Rosas. At 22, he started teaching Brazilian Zouk. With a degree in Physical Education, he integrates his sports expertise into dance instruction. Kassio has organized numerous dance events and festivals in Brazil and Europe, significantly contributing to the international Zouk community. Ania Bul holds a Bachelor’s in Dance and a Master’s in Choreography and Dance Theory. Over 10 years, she trained as a professional contemporary dancer and instructor, exploring classical, contemporary, jazz, and social dances like salsa, bachata, and zouk. She practices yoga to connect with her body and co-founded the Zouk and Beyond Group. Initially teaching independently, Ania later collaborated with Renato Veronezi for 3.5 years, conducting workshops in Poland and internationally. She has also organized many dance events in Poland. Since March 2024, Ania and Kassio have taught in 10 countries. They share a deep passion for dance, embracing its endless possibilities and freedom of expression. Both are committed to continuously developing their skills and sharing their love for dance with others.

Sergei & Aliona

Sergei and Aliona are Brazilian Zouk instructors from Grodno, considered top Zouk teachers in Belarus. They dance and teach with a focus on subtle interaction, relaxation, leading with “fingertip” guidance, and tonal variation, allowing for endless experimentation in dance. Their style is characterized by rapid changes in dynamics and mood, dancing in harmony with the music to create an internal narrative, resulting in a unique external aesthetic. Their experiment in blending Brazilian Zouk with shibari led to the creation of their unique ShibariZouk style, introduced in Belarus, Lithuania, and Latvia. They continually enhance their skills, including attending international festivals, and lead regular group classes in their city, both partner and solo. They prepare vibrant show performances. Founder of Zouk in Grodno, with experience conducting workshops in Belarus, Lithuania, and Latvia. Over 10 years in dance and even longer in music. Sergey began with salsa and bachata but ultimately immersed himself in Zouk. His unique musical vision and ability to express it in dance are remarkable. Each dance with Sergey offers a new nuance—a story, a game, a fairy tale, an experiment. His core message: Zouk is about pleasure, not work; Zouk is freedom, not just “boom-chick-chick.” Dancing since early childhood, with a background in folk dance, strip plastic, and High Heels. In Zouk for 10 years, teaching with Sergey for 4 years. In classes, she emphasizes technique and movement safety. Her flexibility, quick reactions, and responsiveness enable her to adapt to dance with minimal impulses, and open avenues for experimentation. Her main message: Zouk is about emotions; mastering your body, technique, and following your partner allows you to enjoy every dance.

Kastytis & Diana

Kastytis and Diana regularly lead Zouk lessons in Kaunas, Lithuania. Kastytis dances for 7 years. The first steps are supported by the rhythms of Bachata and Kizomba. After discovering Zouk, he fully immersed himself in the world of this dance. He gained experience from the most famous Zouk teachers at various European festivals. He attended courses with Xandy Liberato, Carlos and Fernanda, Anderson and Brenda. He will share his accumulated knowledge in dance lessons. Diana is one of the first Zouk dance teachers in Lithuania. She dances Zouk for 9 years besides Kizomba and Bachata. She is working with the human body and awareness through mindfulness and Gestalt psychotherapy.

Donatas & Karolina

Donatas started dancing at the age of 6. From the age of 18, he became interested in modern dance and trained for 4 years with classical ballet trainers in order to gain a theoretical and practical basis. Eventually, he discovered social dancing, which completely captivated him. Continuing to accumulate experience and training, he teaches at international festivals in Europe and America. In 2023, Donatas took 1st place at the JnJ festival in Warsaw Zouk. Karolina’s journey into the world of dance began in her childhood, where she fell in love with vibrant and dynamic world of ballroom dancing. Competing in national and international competitions, Karolina honed her skills and developed a deep appreciation for the artistry and athleticism of dance. Over time, her curiosity led her to explore the joy and connection of social dancing. It was here that she discovered her true passion for zouk, a captivating style that blends fluidity and expression. Today, Karolina shares her love for zouk as an instructor, teaching alongside Donatas.

Caroline

Caroline isn’t just a talented DJ. She is also an incredible dancer! She has been dancing Zouk for over 5 years, but her journey with dance began much earlier and has lasted her entire life. From folk dance and classical training to contemporary, hip-hop, high heels, and even jazz — Caroline has explored a variety of styles in her search for her own unique voice in dance, and she continues to refine it to this day. For Caroline, Zouk became the most versatile and multifaceted dance, allowing her to combine knowledge and experience from all the solo styles she has practiced. The aesthetics of her dance have been heavily influenced by solo Latin and contemporary, while the depth and fluidity of her movements come from isolation work, Jazzo biomechanics, Pilates, and other body awareness practices. For Caroline, dance is about musicality, comfortable connection, and authentic self-expression. With her vast knowledge and experience in both solo and partner styles, she is ready to share her expertise with you. Her goal is to bring more freedom and style into your dance, help you view your movement from a new perspective, and perhaps even make you wonder, “Wait, I can do that?”
